I'm recruiting for a household name grocery retailer who are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to build a new financial data mart from the ground up. This project will directly support accounting and billing automation initiatives, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of financial data within the business.

About the Role

This role involves building a new financial data mart and supporting various initiatives related to accounting and billing automation. This Data Analytics Engineer will really shape the way these functions use financial data

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and models to support financial reporting and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, & Accounting) to define data requirements
• Develop and maintain scalable data workflows using modern data engineering tools and best practices

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience
• This specific role is only considering full Canadian permanent residents living in Canada

• Experience building Data Marts from scratch for single domain teams (ideally Finance/Accounting)
• DBT
• Snowflake
• Airflow

• AWS
