About Us

Our Customer Management department develops and operates a growing number of data-driven solutions on a scalable AWS infrastructure with significant business impact. Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists work together on modern technologies to provide tailor-made, data-driven services to our business departments.

Your Responsibilities

• Product Development and Operation: You ensure the smooth operational running of an AWS-based product for determining customer preferences and continuously develop it.
• End-to-End Project Work: You accompany projects from conception to analysis together with the team.
• Data Engineering: The development of our data pipelines is in your hands.
• Data Quality and Operation: You establish data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting, and support incident handling.
• Product and Business Logic: You implement business logic in the product and ensure that requirements are cleanly translated into data structures and transformations.
• Stakeholder Management: You are in close contact with the business departments to coordinate operations and platform orientation.

Your Work Environment

• A large part of our product is programmed in Python and PySpark.
• We use SQL for data acquisition in the Data Warehouse, while data analyses are performed in R or Python.
• We rely on a modern CI/CD pipeline with automated tests, code style checks, and daily deployments.
• We offer plenty of scope for personal and team-wide further training, time for refactorings, as well as our department-wide Innovation Days.

Your Profile

• Completed degree (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or a comparable qualification.
• Practical professional experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or in a comparable role.
• Very good Python skills for pipeline and software development.
• Good SQL skills for data modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge in the setup, operation, and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Initial experience with AWS (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Step Functions) and Spark/Databricks is a plus.
