Role

We are looking for an experienced Data and Cloud Security Architect to join an international organization, based in Paris.

Requirements

  • English: Fluent level | French: Desirable.
  • Location: Hybrid model (Issy-les-Moulineaux, France)
  • Education: Master’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in information security (consultancy, auditing, architecture), including at least 2 years’ specific experience with the Azure cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on data security (architecture, design and configuration) to define secure, scalable and resilient data architectures in the cloud and on-premises.
  • Conduct security assessments of Azure data architectures and services.
  • Contribute to the definition of best practices, governance and data security processes.
  • Define the technical and functional security prerequisites for key cloud projects, in line with IT and information security strategies.
  • Review Azure Cloud services and propose security requirements that comply with the security framework.
  • Contribute to the definition, drafting and implementation of security policies, guidelines and standards.
  • Manage cloud security projects.
  • Provide support to business units in the implementation of security solutions.
  • Assess security risks and define appropriate measures and processes for key business projects to protect data and systems prior to their deployment into production.
  • Analyse business and IT requests that affect the security of systems and information in the public cloud and propose mitigation measures.

Technical Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Azure data services (Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Power BI...).
  • Knowledge of Azure AI platforms (Databricks, Azure ML, Cognitive Services...).
  • Solid technical foundation (networking, systems, databases, applications).
  • Methodology: Proficiency in risk analysis methodologies (ISO 27005, EBIOS...).
  • Certifications: Cloud certifications are preferred (e.g., MS AZ-500, AZ-30x, SANS SEC545). Security certifications are preferred (ISO 27001, CISSP or CISM).
