Role Overview

The Project Manager for Data Center Construction (Low Voltage) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful design, installation, and commissioning of vital low voltage systems such as structured cabling, BMS, security, networking, and controls within both new and retrofit data center projects. This position involves collaboration with external developers, general contractors, and internal teams to guarantee project milestones are achieved, technical standards are met, and Oracle's security, operational, and quality goals are fully realized. Additionally, this role promotes innovative processes, continuous improvement, and effective risk management in delivering large-scale, mission-critical data center infrastructure.

This position requires onsite presence in Saline, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of low voltage systems for data center projects.
  • Coordinate with developers, general contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and technical audits to assess installation quality, progress, and integration with building systems.
  • Manage schedules and delivery of low voltage workstreams; track milestones, identify risks, and implement strategies for mitigation.
  • Review and approve low voltage budgets, invoices, and change orders in collaboration with project controls teams.
  • Facilitate robust communication and collaboration among stakeholders to resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, security requirements, and company policies for all low voltage installations.
  • Lead the commissioning and turnover processes to guarantee operational systems and thorough documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery, capturing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Mentor internal team members focused on low voltage scopes to foster technical growth and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $97,500 to $199,500 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
