This is a contract‑to‑hire position that offers a competitive pay range of $40.00 - $52.00 per hour. Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including some leadership roles.
  • Preferably possess experience directly related to data center operations.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and a strong knowledge of data center processes and DCIM support.
  • Proficiency in systems monitoring with application tools such as Dynatrace and Datadog.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in systems administration, scripting, databases, and APIs is beneficial.
  • A flexible mindset and willingness to cover shifts as needed, including off‑hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to failures involving power, hardware, network, and facilities.
  • Analyze system events and alerts to identify root causes.
  • Utilize elevated access responsibly during remediation efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues through diagnostics, testing, and reimplementation.
  • Manage shipping and receiving tasks to ensure accurate inventory and asset tracking.
  • Conduct issue tracking and respond promptly to incidents.
  • Assist with cable installations as specified in work orders, including Fiber and Ethernet.
  • Plan and execute project initiatives under the guidance of managers and Systems Engineers.
  • Create processes to audit and verify existing equipment and operations to maintain core data center standards.
  • Support the operational rollout of new data system components and services.
  • Handle escalations from junior Data Center Technicians as required.
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed.
