About

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for an exciting freelance opportunity with a leading global IT services and consulting company, known for delivering innovative technology solutions across multiple industries.

Location: Italy (remote within Italy)

Rate: €400/day

Contract: 6–12 months with strong possibility of extension

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.
• Implement and optimise solutions using Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support data modelling, integration, and performance tuning.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering on Azure and Databricks.
• English-speaking (Italian is beneficial).
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and cloud architecture.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
