Your Role

We are looking for an experienced and curious personality to further develop our Data Integration Platform and actively shape the future of data management at Swisscard. You will work on a central data platform based on MS SQL Server and Informatica, support stable data flows, and contribute your expertise to the further development towards Azure Cloud. You will be involved in both the existing system and the conception, implementation, and migration of our future setup.

Your Tasks

• You will further develop, operate, and improve our existing Data Integration Platform.
• You will support the stable and secure operation of our current data landscape.
• You will contribute your experience to the design of our future data integration setup.
• You will help to gradually transfer existing solutions into modern, cloud-based architectures.
• You will analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• You will work closely with other delivery teams, business units, and the Data Engineering Chapter.
• You will ensure that our solutions are of high quality, secure, maintainable, and sustainable.
• You will actively participate in agile working methods and take responsibility for your topics.

Your Profile

• You have several years of experience as a Data Engineer and possess in-depth know-how in complex data environments and the appropriate education.
• You understand the entire data lifecycle and are familiar with the most important concepts, processes, and tools in data management.
• You have experience with ETL processes and corresponding tools.
• You enjoy working with SQL and ideally have experience with MS SQL Server, Informatica, Control-M, or similar technologies.
• You have a high awareness of security, quality, stability, and clean implementation.
• You are comfortable in an agile environment and work reliably both independently and as part of a team.
• You enjoy understanding and operating existing systems while also helping to shape new solutions.
• You have experience with Big Data, data engineering toolsets, or scripting languages.
• You ideally have experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Spark, PowerShell, or Python.
