• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Proven experience bridging business needs and technical development, translating requirements into actionable solutions.
• Previous background in Technical Business Analysis is preferred and is a strong advantage.
• Expertise in Python (pandas), SQL, and Excel for exploratory analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
• Skilled in back-testing and validating solutions to ensure audit compliance and operational readiness.
• Proficient in mapping data into new data models with robust, tested code.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and stakeholder-facing presentations.

Technical Skills

• Programming: Python, pandas, NumPy, SQL
• Data Management: PostgreSQL, SQLite, CSV
• Testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, CI/CD Pipelines
• Tools: Git, Jupyter Notebooks

Nice-to-Have Skills Description

• Python programming
• Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments
