With a collection of references to around 17.5 million people, which is part of the UNESCO World Documentary Heritage, it is an important source of knowledge for society. As part of the company's digital strategy, the goal is to make a large part of the documents in the archive searchable by the year 2030 through people search, geolocation, and subject matter.

To master this mammoth task, the company is looking for a Data Engineer / Data Scientist as a new team member. In this role, you will actively participate in the implementation of various sub-projects for metadata integration and mass data acquisition. You will conceptualize and realize innovative solutions for the transformation, integration, and standardization of large data sets.

Furthermore, you will integrate the use of artificial intelligence into your daily work and work together with the team on IT-supported projects with international partners. The team offers a dynamic work environment in which innovative concepts and technologies are used to overcome socio-political challenges.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has successfully completed a university degree in computer science, geoinformatics, business informatics, mathematics or a related field.
