Microsoft Fabric is Microsoft's new SaaS data platform. As a cutting-edge new technological offering, it provides a unified data integration, modeling, and delivery experience, centered around a "Power BI-like" culture, while defining itself as the "One Drive for Data." Expertime was the first French partner to evangelize this technology through Microsoft's Fabric in a Day events.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer specialized in Microsoft Fabric H/F, you will be involved in projects that address clients' data exploitation challenges, including:

• Analyzing and qualifying the needs and business issues of our clients.
• Participating in the definition and implementation of Data solutions adapted to project contexts.
• Collaborating with Business teams in their work of identifying and documenting data.
• Collaborating with Consultants and Data Specialist Engineers on projects and working towards the quality of their achievements and deliverables.
• Collaborating on all data activity areas: BI and Analytics, Big Data, Data Science and AI.
• Collaborating transversally with other expertise areas (UX/UI, software and technical architects, cloud and DevOps experts) to design and deliver the most adapted and performant solutions.
• Working in an agile context and promoting innovative approaches.

In parallel:

You will participate in the upskilling of employees and the interface between business teams (internal and external).

Your Profile

A true DATA enthusiast and a graduate of an engineering school, you have over 8 years of experience in an IT environment, in a senior role within Data and Microsoft environments (Team Lead, Architect, or Senior Consultant).

• Mastery of Onpremise and Cloud Data architectures, SQL, an ETL tool (Azure Data Factory or others), and Data Visualization.
• Previous missions related to Fabric.
• Mastery of security, infrastructure, and network issues in the Cloud.
• Design, modeling, and optimization of databases.
• Knowledge of the Azure, MSBI, SQL Server environment or AI concepts (Python, R, or Machine Learning).
• You enjoy continuous learning through self-training, technological monitoring, courses, or participation in Tech community events.
• Your curiosity drives you to perform daily monitoring.
• You are open to exchanges, capable of understanding a business need and translating it into a technical requirement. Your customer relationship skills are consistently highlighted professionally.
• You enjoy working in a team while being autonomous in your role. You like intervening simultaneously on multiple projects with different teams.
• You possess at least technical English skills (reading/writing documents in English).
• You are comfortable with written and oral communication, and you demonstrate pedagogical qualities and relational adaptability to convince.
