Your Responsibilities

• Further development of a high-performance cloud data platform based on Microsoft Azure
• Participation in the migration of existing data landscapes into a Databricks-based environment
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines for batch and streaming processing
• Modeling, structuring, and automating complex data processes
• Integration of new data sources and development of stable ETL/ELT workflows
• Involvement in architecture and technology decisions within the Azure environment
• Knowledge transfer on cloud and big data technologies within the team
• Responsibility for data-driven projects – from conception to productive implementation

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in a technical or analytical field or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience with Databricks as a Data Engineer
• Good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Experience with distributed data processing engines like Apache Spark
• Knowledge of working with Delta Lake or similar transactional data formats
• Practical experience with Big Data platforms
• Advantageous: Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, or DevOps approaches
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and enjoyment of responsibility
• Team-oriented working style and very good German language skills
