Your Role

For a new digital project in the MICE industry, we are looking for you: a personality who is eager to rethink things with us, turn ideas into reality, and actively shape the future of our industry.

What You'll Do

• Data Infrastructure & Scaling: You develop and are responsible for our data infrastructure. You build robust pipelines that transfer data from various sources into a clean, reliable data warehouse and ensure quality, consistency, and availability.
• Machine Learning & AI Development: You develop models for predictive and, prospectively, prescriptive analytics. Your goal is to enable data-driven decisions in the company and continuously develop them.
• AI Integration & Tools: You make AI usable in everyday life by developing internal tools, dashboards, and integrations. This ensures that non-technical teams can also benefit from data-based insights.
• Automation & Roadmap: You identify potential for AI, automation, and the use of AI agents throughout the company. You plan and prioritize projects and actively drive our AI transformation forward – from decision support and intelligent agents to partially automated processes.
• System Operation & Further Development: You manage our infrastructure with a focus on stability, cost-consciousness, and scalability. You make pragmatic technology decisions and avoid unnecessary dependencies on individual providers.

What You Bring

• Previous Professional Experience & Solid Education: You have 4-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a comparable role where you have built productive data and ML systems.
• Code Quality & Scalability: You write structured, reliable code and think in terms of scalable systems. Python is familiar to you, but your holistic view of stable software architectures is more important to us.
• ML Lifecycle & Practical Experience: You are familiar with the entire Machine Learning Lifecycle – from data preparation, feature engineering, to deployment, monitoring, and iteration – and have already implemented productive applications.
• Databases & Pipelines: You are proficient in using databases such as PostgreSQL, design data models, write complex queries, and develop stable ETL processes.
• AI Tools & Infrastructure: You have experience with LLM APIs and know how to use them efficiently for structured use cases. You also have knowledge of Linux, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Self-Responsibility & Communication: You work independently, think entrepreneurially, and actively drive topics forward. At the same time, you can explain technical content understandably and enjoy working with non-technical teams – in German or English.
