Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications for IoT and Cloud projects.
• Collaborate with teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Perform data mining using state‑of‑the‑art methods.
• Enhance data collection procedures to include relevant information.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields with five years of experience, or a Master's with three years of experience.
• Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, MATLAB, Git, LaTeX).
• Proven experience with Python development.
• Experience working with and creating data architectures.
• Previous work experience in automation or digital product development preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with emphasis on mill, feed or other relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, and experience applying them.
• Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) considered a priority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• Must understand the validation requirements for software tools.
• Excellent English skills in speaking, reading and writing.
• Must be organized to effectively manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate.
