Data Scientist

About the Role

Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist to join a leading aerospace company in Longueuil, QC.

The Data Scientist will support and evolve a key enterprise initiative, with the opportunity to expand impact across additional business and AI initiatives. This role is hands‑on, technical, and strongly embedded with the business. You will work on production‑grade machine learning solutions, focusing on explain ability, model robustness, performance optimization, and scalable delivery.

This role is 5x week onsite in Longueuil, QC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
• Experience with Python, Databricks, and AWS or similar
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable models and insights

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
• Experience with explain ability frameworks and model robustness techniques
• Certifications (AWS, Databricks)
• French is an asset
