About Us

IT Solutions Factory is a company within the NJJ group, owned by Xavier NIEL, which develops IT solutions for the group's telecom operators: SALT in Switzerland, Monaco Telecom in Monaco, EPIC in Malta, MILLICOM in Latin America, Lifecell in Ukraine, and EIR in Ireland.

The teams in Nice, Lyon, and Ukraine work together on large-scale transformation projects in various fields: CRM, ERP, billing...

Today, the two sites represent approximately 90 passionate developers, from diverse backgrounds (engineers, 42/101, IUT, self-taught).

Responsibilities

As part of a team of 9 people, you will participate in the development of a technical stack for operating the group's radio networks.

You are responsible for preliminary research, design, improvement, and monitoring of AI solutions to solve complex problems in telecommunications:

• Radio optimization
• Automatic monitoring
• Improvement of network energy efficiency
• Business-oriented LLMs: i.e. information extraction and chatbot creation
• Other work is to come.

Your solutions are integrated into business applications by a team of developers.

A paradigm shift is currently underway, where Data Science models and solutions are deployed directly in a dedicated environment, making you responsible for implementing these solutions within the data lake.

You will work in a multi-technology context.

The role will focus on the following activities:

• Discuss directly with the sponsors (external to ITSF) to understand use cases with a data processing / Big data problem. Understanding the stakes is essential.
• Advise stakeholders on their requests / clarify ambiguities about data science and its possibilities.
• Define the scope of applications that meet the sponsors' needs, with them.
• In the context of the data lake, design data models to support your activities. Participate in data collection (quality and relevance).
• Conduct necessary monitoring to ensure the implementation of best practices and models to meet defined needs. Propose innovative solutions.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data and extract relevant and actionable information.
• Produce AI models (machine learning, deep learning, ...) to achieve predefined objectives or invalidate initial hypotheses.
• Document AI project methodologies, processes, and results to ensure traceability and facilitate reproduction of work.
• Present your results to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Implement validated solutions in the dedicated production environment.
• Supervise an apprentice in Data Science on a specific PoC during the year.
• Ability to federate the group's other data scientists (who do not work at ITSF, but at our partners).
• Coordinate the Research Tax Credit within the company.

Skills

• 3 years of experience in applied AI (PhD, laboratory research)
• 3 years of experience in Data Science (specialized in AI)
• Mastery of machine learning and deep learning methods
• Knowledge of AI model optimization techniques: hyperparameters, regularization techniques, selection of the most relevant features
• Ability to work in a team
