Data Scientist (m/w/d)
Winterthur, 80-100%
What You'll Do
- You work along the entire end-to-end process in reporting – from data extraction through transformation and modeling to visualization and provision for the business. Additionally, you lay the foundation for further data science applications.
- You work on the definition of meaningful KPIs for performance management along the entire end-to-end process in tenant management – from initial contact to termination – and ensure data quality.
- You analyze key KPIs such as contact volume, shrinkage, throughput times, efficiency, and other factors along the entire customer journey.
- You extract, process, and refine data (Microsoft Fabric, Python, PySpark, SQL, Azure).
- You design and create semantic models for Power BI reports (Microsoft Fabric).
- You create, maintain, and develop reports and dashboards in Power BI and ServiceNow Platform Analytics, ensuring they generate business value.
- You create the necessary foundations and develop forecast models and further data science applications based on machine learning (Python, Microsoft Fabric).
- You conceptualize and implement simulation models with scenario analyses (what-if analysis) that enable data-driven decision-making processes in tenant management (Python).
- You use and adapt validation frameworks in Microsoft Fabric to specific use cases.
- You support the collection of requirements, change requests, and project proposals for data topics and software (Requirements Engineering).
- You work closely with Data Engineering, IT, operational units, and platform managers to understand end-to-end processes holistically and optimize them based on data.
- You participate in the implementation of technical requirements and further developments, e.g., reports, automations, and interfaces.
- You work closely with colleagues from specialist departments and external suppliers in (partial) projects.
- You take on additional tasks in Data Science & Advanced Analytics for data-driven optimization of tenant management.
Why You'll Succeed
- You have a commercial apprenticeship and higher business administration education (university, university of applied sciences, higher vocational school) or in business informatics, statistics, or data science.
- You have several years of professional experience in data analysis, ideally with insight into service-oriented work environments; knowledge of customer management is an advantage.
- You skillfully apply digital affinity and sound PC and software knowledge daily when working with various systems.
- An efficient and goal-oriented way of working and good communication skills with negotiation skills qualify you for dealing with diverse and demanding target groups.
- A high degree of service and customer orientation is a matter of course for you.
- Good manners, high resilience, flexibility, and perseverance round off your profile.
