Data Scientist (Databricks Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Databricks to build scalable machine learning models and derive actionable insights from large datasets. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Perform data cleaning, exploration, and feature engineering on large datasets.
• Build and optimize data pipelines in a distributed computing environment.
• Utilize Databricks tools such as MLflow for experiment tracking and model management.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Monitor model performance and ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, and Databricks workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience in NLP, deep learning, or time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of MLOps and CI/CD practices.
