Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid Writer role based in Berlin, Germany, with the flexibility to work remotely on some occasions. The Writer will be responsible for producing compelling content for publications, websites, and social media platforms. Tasks include creating well-researched articles, proofreading manuscripts, generating promotional materials, and collaborating with the team to develop consistent and impactful communication strategies. The Writer will play a key role in promoting biotechnological insights and the Association’s initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Content Writing, Creative Writing, and producing high-quality, targeted content
• Ability to conduct in-depth Research and contribute to Content Strategy planning
• Proficiency in Proofreading and Editing to ensure clarity and accuracy in all written materials
• Understanding of Marketing principles, particularly Digital Marketing and Content Marketing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Familiarity with life sciences, biotechnology, or research-based writing is highly beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a hybrid role with minimal supervision
