Your Role

• Development: You will conceptualize, implement, and continuously develop data and AI-based applications.
• Machine Learning: You will train ML models to solve complex business problems and bring them into production.
• Generative AI & Agentics: You will develop AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for use in agentic systems.
• Data Engineering: Conceptualize, develop, and implement robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) within the Databricks environment.
• Operations & Quality: You will take over the monitoring, scaling, and quality assurance of existing solutions (MLOps/DataOps).
• Collaboration: You will work in close coordination with the business units to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

Your Profile

• Education: Completed IT-oriented degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent professional experience.
• Platform Expertise: Practical experience with the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Tech Stack: Sound programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Methodology: Strong analytical skills to structure, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.
• Additional Qualifications (Ideal):
  • Experience with Apache Spark (PySpark)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Experience in Model Deployment (MLflow) and NoSQL databases
  • Visualization skills with tools like Power BI
• Languages: Very good German skills (C1 or higher) and good English skills (B2 or higher).
