About the role
Your main tasks
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to provide high-quality data for AI, BI, and analytics use cases
- Design, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Translate business needs into actionable insights through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations while keeping stakeholders aligned
- Document solutions according to regulatory standards and share knowledge across the organization
- Monitor, retrain, and maintain models based on feedback and evolving business needs
- Drive adoption of data-driven processes and support stakeholders with best practices
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, data engineering, and analytics to enhance solution capabilities
- Optimize cost and resource usage of AI solutions
- Track and report business impact of deployed solutions using KPIs
- Ensure data security, compliance, and ethical standards throughout the data lifecycle
Your profile
- Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-based data products end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methodology, AI/ML frameworks PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data engineering tools
- Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant technologies
- Solid scientific background in mathematics, statistics, probability, and AI
- Experience with cloud platforms Azure) and cloud-based data lakes or warehouses Databricks, Dataiku)
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally healthcare or MedTech, with understanding of compliance and data governance
- Strong communicator and team player, translating complex technical concepts into business insights while embracing continuous learning
- Full professional proficiency in German; fluent in English
