Your responsibilities will include: developing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models in German; collaborating with experienced data engineers to create robust data pipelines; deploying models in production environments or prototypes; ensuring model reproducibility, including documentation; selecting suitable algorithms for specific business challenges; conducting cross-validations and backtesting of the models; ensuring compliance with ethical AI guidelines and data governance requirements; and explaining model results to users.

• University degree in computer science or a related field

• Basic knowledge of Python and various machine learning methods, e.g., decision trees, ensembles, neural networks, clustering, and Splunk.

• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data is an advantage.

• A good understanding of MS SQL regarding data analysis and database optimization is advantageous.

• Ideally, experience with big data platforms, e.g., Hadoop or Spark.

• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
