We are currently collaborating with a leading global e-commerce group, present in Asia, Europe and the Americas. In this context, we are looking for someone with energy, a sense of responsibility, and motivation to take on the role of Data Scientist, in one of the strategic initiatives we are leading with this client.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

In practical terms, this person will be primarily responsible for designing, building, and maintaining solutions within our client’s platform using multiple tools and applying statistical approaches and machine learning techniques.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Collaboratively design, develop, and support advanced solutions within the client’s platform using statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.

• Work closely with Engineers and Analysts on highly impactful and complex challenges.

• Design, build, and expand data products using state-of-the-art technologies.

• Perform analysis and experiments to identify new opportunities and support implementations that evolve the client’s data products.

Requisitos e qualificações

For this position, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in similar roles.

You’ll be the right fit if you bring these mandatory requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or equivalent specialised training/certification.

• Proven experience in data science environments, building and architecting production-level data products.

• Capability to design, model, develop, test, and maintain machine learning solutions, with experience in productising these solutions.

• Experience in SQL and Python programming, with familiarity in TensorFlow and other machine learning libraries.

It would be very nice if you also bring:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud environment

Informações adicionais

This is a full-remote position and you are welcome to apply for this position ONLY if you live in PORTUGAL. Unfortunately, for this position, we are unable to accept applicants from other countries.

You may occasionally be required to work from a client site in the Greater Porto area for specific, planned projects. Please note this is not a hybrid working model and visits will be ad hoc.

This position is part of a long-term project.
