Data Scientist (m/f/d) Process Mining & Predictive Process Analytics

Responsibilities

• Extraction, preparation, and provision of event logs from various source systems (ERP, CRM, BPM systems, etc.)
• Ensuring data quality and consistency for process mining analyses
• Development and maintenance of data pipelines for automated event log generation
• Conception and training of machine learning models for predicting process flows (Predictive Process Monitoring)
• Development of models for detecting anomalies, bottlenecks, and deviations in process executions
• Continuous optimization and validation of forecast models using current process data
• Support of specialist departments in the conception and setup of process mining dashboards
• Collaboration with business analysts and process owners to translate business requirements into meaningful visualizations
• Consulting and training of stakeholders in the use of process mining tools and results

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
• Knowledge and practical experience in Python (e.g., pandas, pm4py, scikit-learn) or comparable programming languages
• Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, ProM, Disco) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Demonstrable understanding of business processes – ideally in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Production
• Knowledge of common software systems and their interfaces, e.g., SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
• Understanding of API-based integrations and data flows between systems
• Ability to explain technical matters understandably to non-technical stakeholders
• High degree of initiative and willingness to take responsibility
• Strong team player with the ability to communicate across departments
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
