About the role
Your role in the team
- In your new role, you will contribute to the further development of automated data analysis and the introduction of AI applications at the Berlin Court of Auditors.
- You work collaboratively with other data experts in an agile, creative, and results-oriented manner on new data analytical approaches.
- You manage the database and the associated data model, design complex dashboards for household and financial data of the State of Berlin, and lay the groundwork for the introduction and use of current methods of Artificial Intelligence.
- Additionally, you can contribute your ideas to the conceptual development of the IT infrastructure required for this.
- Due to the central responsibility of the Data Competence Team for data analysis, you have the opportunity to support audit activities through digital innovations and to develop your own analyses on a variety of issues within the Berlin administration together with colleagues from the audit departments.
- Development of database solutions and dashboards for the responsibilities of the Court of Auditors
- Selection and application of suitable data models, analysis, and machine learning methods
- Development and implementation of AI applications in the Court of Audit
- Design and administration of the IT infrastructure for the development and operation of AI applications and for the data analysis procedures of the Court of Auditors.
- Communication and collaboration with external partners and service providers
- Continuous maintenance and further development of the implemented processes
- Design and implementation of training programs on data-driven assessment methods and AI applications
- Participation in internal and external exchange formats on the topics of data analysis and AI applications in the area of financial control.

Our expectations:
Qualifications
- Negotiation-level German skills at C1 level
Experience
- Work experience of at least two years in data analysis and/or AI application development is desirable.
Education
- A university degree with a master's level or an equivalent qualification from a university or an accredited program in the fields of Data Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable disciplines related to data analysis or AI.
