About

As a Data Scientist at Bison Schweiz AG, you will analyze large, complex datasets and develop data-driven solutions for the strategic alignment of our clients and our company. You will use modern business intelligence tools, develop machine learning models, and create data-based forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and interpretation of large, complex datasets to derive business-relevant insights
• Development, implementation, and optimization of machine learning models and algorithms
• Collection, cleaning, and transformation of structured and unstructured data from various sources
• Use and integration of cloud-based technologies, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to scale and optimize analysis processes
• Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures for the integration of AI-powered solutions
• Building innovative AI products to support data-driven decision-making processes
• Tracking current trends and technologies in the field of Data Science for continuous improvement of analysis processes

Profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in data analysis and the use of machine learning techniques
• Sound knowledge of the Python programming language, as well as experience with database queries in TSQL
• Knowledge in the application of Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions) for processing large datasets and conducting complex analyses is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as sound knowledge of statistical methods
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
