Your daily life as a Data Solutions Architect at Aubay Data & AI:
- Work with business teams to understand needs in terms of uses and required data, and identify appropriate technical solutions to meet these needs while proposing innovative and scalable architectures.
- Define and design Data architectures taking into account performance, security, availability, and compliance requirements.
- Propose relevant technical solutions in an argued manner by producing and presenting a recommendation file.
- Implement Data architectures (technical and solutions) and advise development and engineering teams in the implementation of data foundations and pipelines.
- Produce technical documentation for Data architectures and implemented solutions, providing diagrams and architecture schematics, as well as operational and usage guides.
- Support specialized Data engineers (Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, etc.) in carrying out various projects and ensure compliance with best practices and the quality of technical and documentary deliverables.
- Collaborate with entities responsible for technical architectures to integrate data solutions within the overall IT architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Maintain permanent technological watch to stay up-to-date on the latest technological trends and best practices in data storage, processing, and valorization.
Your profile:
- You have a BAC+5 level education (Master 2 or engineering school) specialized in IT and at least 8 years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions, as well as prior experience as a solutions architect.
- You have a solid understanding of the main concepts in the Data domain (architecture, governance, modeling, integration, valorization, etc.).
- You have a perfect command of the concepts of the main data architecture patterns (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Hub, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, etc.) as well as the ins and outs of data governance and data quality management.
- You have in-depth expertise in at least one modern Data platform (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake) and in the use of Data services from major Cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure).
- You have an excellent vision of the major solutions in the Data market, whether modern or currently considered "legacy".
- You have a perfect command of the ins and outs of the DevOps philosophy as well as CI/CD oriented tools.
- Your oral and written communication skills allow you to exchange and collaborate effectively with both business and technical profiles.
- You demonstrate great assertiveness and are therefore capable of providing well-argued high-level advice to optimally guide clients' Data initiatives.
- Although you may specialize in a particular technological solution, you maintain an open mind and know how to be neutral and objective to best advise clients.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

- You have advanced knowledge (ideally certified) of methodological standards around enterprise architecture (TOGAF) and Data (DAMA).
- You have validated your technological skills by obtaining an architecture-oriented certification from a major market player in Data (Databricks, Microsoft, Snowflake, etc.).

- "Head" Role: You will be able to take responsibility for the Data Architecture & Platform know-how and its offerings, and ensure its broad development (business development, recruitment, employee management, strategy definition, and community animation within the Aubay group, etc.).
Our recruitment process:
- 1st HR call to introduce ourselves, talk about Aubay Data & AI, and see if our respective expectations are compatible (duration: 30 min, Teams or in-person).
- 2nd call with a technical expert (duration: minimum 1 hour, Teams or in-person).
- 3rd and final call with the director of Aubay Data & AI to fully understand your ambitions and motivations, and also to project you into your role within Aubay Data & AI (duration: 45 min to 1 hour, Teams or in-person).
