Data Warehouse Tester

Role Descriptions:

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Tester with strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Azure Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong Quality Engineering mindset and experience resolving complex problems in a repeatable, scalable, and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs supporting enterprise platforms
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage, processing, and optimization
• Build and manage data pipelines and ETL frameworks for large-scale data processing and migration
• Integrate GenAI-based solutions (RAG, prompt engineering) into backend applications where applicable
• Develop and maintain platform tooling using Backstage, including reusable templates and golden paths
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define backend architecture and solutions
• Support debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Data Warehouse Testing or Development experience
• 2+ years of Azure Cloud experience
• Strong understanding of Data Marts and Data Warehouse concepts
• Expertise in SQL with the ability to create source-to-target comparison test cases
• Experience creating: Test Plans, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix, Closure Reports
• Proficiency with: PySpark, Python, GitHub, JIRA, JTMF
• Experience working in Agile methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
• Hands-on experience with: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of: Mainframe EBCDIC, COBOL Copybooks, ETL processes, Informatica, Excel Macros
• Experience with automation tools such as: Tosca BIDI, Autosys

Tools & Methodologies:

• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe frameworks
