About the role
OVERVIEW:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Graphic Designer with 2–3 years of experience to support the development of consumer electronics, hard goods, and packaging. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced product environment, enjoys working from factory dielines, and can seamlessly balance creative design with technical production execution.
You’ll work cross-functionally with product development, design, and sales teams to bring concepts to life, from initial design through final production-ready files.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Creative Execution
- Create compelling graphics for consumer electronics products and hard goods (e.g., headphones, speakers, accessories, small appliances)
- Design packaging systems including boxes, inserts, labels, and displays
- Translate brand guidelines and licensing requirements into cohesive product and packaging designs
- Work from factory dielines to develop accurate, visually strong layouts
- Support seasonal and retailer-specific programs with quick-turn creative needs
Production & Technical Design
- Prepare accurate, print-ready production files for packaging and product graphics
- Ensure all files meet manufacturing and printer specifications (bleeds, color modes, materials, finishes, etc.)
- Review and mark up proofs for accuracy prior to production
- Manage revisions and version control across multiple SKUs and programs
- Collaborate with overseas factories to adjust files and resolve technical issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product development and operations teams to ensure designs are feasible for production
- Work closely with licensors and internal stakeholders to maintain brand consistency
- Support sales presentations with mockups, renderings, and visual assets when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in consumer products, packaging, or hard goods
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience working with dielines and packaging layouts
- Understanding of print production and manufacturing processes
- Ability to create production-ready files with high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with licensed products or working within brand guidelines
- Exposure to consumer electronics or tech accessories
- Basic knowledge of 3D rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender) or mockup creation
- Experience communicating with overseas vendors/factories

At Orbit Innovations, we believe in rewarding great work and great people. Our compensation packages reflect the experience, expertise, and contributions of each team member. The salary for this role ranges from $60,000–$75,000, depending on experience. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation such as a profit-sharing bonus.
