To be a leader in both strategy and innovation with the evaluation of existing • *Container Technologies**

, as well as the development of strategic solutions and blueprints to solve stated business challenges. Perform architectural analysis, design and deliver based on collaboration with various business stakeholders. • ***Job Responsibilities**** • Responsible build and maintance of the Kubernetes platforms in cloud. • Responsible to build and maintain Terraforms code. • Understanding of Container Platform Connectivity (Firewalls, Networking and Security). • Liaise with vendors to assist in the procurement of Platform as a Service Technologies. • Design and build-out full life-cycle of selected Container technologies. • Contribute to the design and/or development, testing and evaluation of systems and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code and Cloud technologies). • Participate in the creation of Container patterns and practices for the enterprise. • Ensure and understanding of information management, data integrity, and security. • Assess teams’ maturity in the enterprise and provide consultation with steps to improve their software delivery over a pre-determined period. • Manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. • Maintain and facilitate compliance with company, security and regulatory standards. • Foster innovation with the DevOps team to assist the team to continuously improve. • Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values. • Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise. • Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities. • Contribute to the Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.). • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy. • Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems though agile thinking. • *Essential Qualifications - NQF Level** • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees • *Preferred Qualification** • Degree in computer science, math or software engineering or equivalent technical experience • BSC Computer Science • ***Essential Certifications**** • Cloud certification is preferred above fundamentals. • Certification in Kubernetes administrator (CKA). • Certification in Terraform Cloud, • *Minimum Experience Level** • Over 4 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator across multiple platforms, both on‑premises and in the cloud. • Minimum 2 years’ experience with DevOps tools and practices (GitHub, Azure DevOps). • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Container technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Azure Container Apps). • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments. • 2 years of Terraform experience for infrastructure as code. • Strong understanding of application architecture principles. • *Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566**
