Your new job as DevOps and Cloud Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

• Build the future with code: You will design and operate modern hybrid infrastructures – from virtualization to cloud native.
• Automate what others still do manually: Using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell, you will ensure smart deployments and efficient processes.
• Bring movement to containers and more: You will develop, orchestrate, and optimize Kubernetes and DevOps environments that truly scale.
• Make systems secure and stable: You will monitor, harden, and optimize the platforms – always keeping performance, compliance, and security in mind.
• Connect worlds: You will work hand-in-hand with network, cloud, and security teams, ensuring smooth transitions between the physical and virtual worlds.
• Drive innovation: You will test new technologies, evaluate trends, and actively contribute your ideas to our IT landscape.

This is you

• Completed studies (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: DevOps / CI-CD, Containers / Kubernetes, Virtualization / Hypervisors, Microsoft 365 / Endpoint and Security
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Helm) and the setup and operation of modern infrastructure
• Very good German skills (at least B2) in speaking and writing, confident use of technical English
• Structured, self-reliant way of working, team spirit, and enthusiasm for innovation and automation
• Ideally, experience in the public sector, administrations, or regulated environments, as well as with topics like GDPR / BSI or ITIL
