About
As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We're looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions.
At Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines (VMs) or networks and use cloud service providers to further clients’ meaningful missions.
With access to internal innovative labs, you’ll have the latest technology and brightest teammates to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for critical server and network components.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- Experience provisioning computer networking and storage and setting up servers, including VMs or networks
- Experience integrating and deploying container services through a DevSecOps pipeline
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with Git for branching, tagging, merging, and release management, including GitLab CI/CD (designing, writing, and managing
.gitlab-ci.ymlpipelines for build, test, and deploy workflows) - Experience with Linux
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- Experience writing scripts using Bash, Python, or Boto3
- Experience with GEOAxIS, Elasticsearch, Helm, and Terraform
- Experience optimizing DevOps CI/CD pipelines (caching, artifacts, parallelization) to improve performance
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to open‑source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- CompTIA Security+ certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Projected annual compensation range: $69,300 – $158,000 (based on location, education, experience, and other factors)
