Your tasks with us

• You are involved in diverse projects around our IT infrastructure, with a special focus on the operation and further development of our systems. Your generalist approach and impulses for improvement are in demand here.
• In day-to-day business, you ensure the smooth operation of our applications – you have the team by your side for technical challenges.
• You integrate third-party software into our infrastructure – relevant databases include Maria DB, Postgre SQL, MS-SQL, or Oracle.
• Always with an eye on the big picture, you optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring tools.
• You design and implement highly available cloud solutions.
• You design Secure Software Development Frameworks within the team, adhering to IT security guidelines.
• You conceptualize and develop future-proof Java-based web applications.
• Your continuous technical documentation expands our knowledge base.

What you bring with you

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc., or have IT-related training, e.g., as an IT specialist.
• Your practical experience is sound and, above all, broad: containerization, preferably cloud operation, CI/CD principles, and common tools like Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar Qube, and Nexus.
• You are familiar with monitoring tools like Icinga and Prometheus, as well as logging tools like Grafana, Graylog, and Open Telemetry.
• You are proficient in handling Linux and Windows servers.
• You have already been intensively involved in web development with Java, Angular, Spring Boot, JSF, and relational databases (e.g., Maria DB, Postgre SQL).
• Process-oriented work with an agile mindset and enthusiasm for digital transformation; ideally, you are also familiar with ITIL.
• You are a team player, work customer-orientedly, and possess an analytical and communicative working style.
• Since German is our company and project language, you need C1 level language skills as well as good English skills.
