DevOps / Platform Engineer – Abu Dhabi

Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Platform Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, reliability, and building scalable infrastructure that supports high‑quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web applications, APIs, and backend services.

Manage Development, Testing, and Production environments, including configuration, secrets, and deployment workflows.

Implement and enhance observability practices, including logging, metrics, monitoring, alerting, and dashboard creation.

Strengthen runtime security through secrets management, least‑privilege access, and vulnerability remediation support.

Support reliability engineering efforts, including backup and restore procedures, incident triage, and release readiness checks.

Collaborate closely with security and engineering teams to meet audit, governance, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).

Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) is a plus.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
