DevOps/Automation Engineer (m/w/d) – CI/CD & GitOps

Your Mission

You build and operate the delivery and automation platform on which our products are deployed securely, repeatably, and verifiably.

As a DevOps/Automation Engineer, you are responsible for CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and release automation – ensuring that product teams can deploy quickly and securely without losing sight of compliance requirements.

Our Context: We operate several products for the public sector on the STACKIT Public Cloud – with multiple environments and ITSM-bound change processes.

CI/CD Pipelines & Release Automation

• Building, operating, and further developing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) for all products.
• Release automation including versioning, changelogs, approval gates, and rollback mechanisms.
• Golden path templates for product teams: standardized pipeline building blocks that are easy to consume.

GitOps & Deployment

• GitOps workflows for configuration and deployments: pull-based reconciliation, environment promotion, drift detection.
• Deployment strategies (Rolling, Blue-Green, Canary) depending on product requirements.
• Ensuring auditability and traceability of all changes.

Image Builds & Supply Chain Security

• Container image builds, registry flows, and lifecycle management
