About
A growing business is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist to support the management and optimisation of its digital platforms and marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with solid practical experience across digital marketing platforms who enjoys working with website back-end systems, paid campaigns, performance data, and online customer journeys. The position focuses on digital performance and platform management, rather than purely creative or social media content work.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Focus Areas
- E-Commerce Platforms
- Manage WordPress and/or Shopify websites including back-end functionality, product updates and integrations.
- Support website optimisation and ensure smooth online customer journeys.
- Digital Campaign Management
- Assist with managing and optimising Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and contribute to improving ROI.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve digital performance.
- Email Marketing & CRM
- Assist with email campaigns, automation workflows and CRM database segmentation.
- SEO & Website Optimisation
- Implement on-page SEO improvements and support initiatives to improve website conversions.
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in digital marketing or e-commerce
- Experience working with WordPress and/or Shopify
- Exposure to Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar)
- Strong interest in digital performance and optimisation
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Marketing, or Web Development preferred.
Package & Remuneration
- R300 000.00 per annum (cost to company)
