The FH Salzburg employs around 450 staff members at its four locations - Campus Urstein, Campus Kuchl, Campus Uniklinikum Salzburg, Campus Schwarzach. In 19 Bachelor's and 16 Master's degree programs, 3,400 students are educated in the Departments of Applied Social Sciences, Business and Tourism, Creative Technologies, Health Sciences, Design and Green Engineering, and Information Technologies and Digitalisation. To strengthen the University Communications & Marketing department, we are advertising the following position:

Responsibilities

  • Operative Social Media topic and editorial planning, independent content production (from concept through video shooting and editing to publication), community management
  • Responsibility for Social Media editorial tool (e.g. AgoraPulse), interface to the departments and divisions
  • Monitoring, reporting, and optimization of implemented measures
  • Further development and implementation of the FH Salzburg's social media strategy and active shaping of the FH Salzburg's digital marketing strategy
  • Planning and coordination of shoots and video productions for image and advertising videos, including on-site photo and video assistance as well as in-house productions
  • Expansion and maintenance of the image database
  • Analysis and monitoring of current social media trends and tools
  • Participation in the planning and implementation of paid social campaigns in cooperation with internal and external partners
  • Support in editorial supervision and further development of the FH website
  • Participation in FH events such as Open House

Profile

  • Completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a comparable qualification are desirable
  • Professional experience in digital or social media marketing (e.g., agency)
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Experience with common video and image editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and InDesign
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current marketing and social media trends
  • Communicative, team-oriented personality with a structured way of working, high initiative, and the necessary flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work
