Dual study program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Your role in the team

• In your theory phases at the Duale Hochschule, the following topics are among the curriculum: You will acquire fundamental knowledge in computer science (e.g., theoretical computer science, databases, IT security, programming), data science, and artificial intelligence.

• You will also learn about important current research and application areas in artificial intelligence and data science within the field of economics.

• During your practical phases, you will gain in-depth insights into various fields or actively work on projects and within departments: You will delve deeply into the different IT interface topics of your core area.

• You develop an eye for innovative technological approaches, know how to utilize artificial intelligence, train intelligent systems, and analyze collected data.

• You will learn project management techniques and work responsibly on challenging tasks.

• You analyze, optimize, and document IT processes, advise internal clients or departments, and implement solutions together with them.

What we offer

• Start of studies: September 1, 2027, including the welcome month.

• Duration of studies: 3 years.

• Location: Heilbronn/Neckarsulm.

• Core area: various departments of Schwarz Digits.

• Study location: DHBW Heilbronn.

• Degree: Bachelor of Science.

• Remuneration: €1,650 in the first year, €1,750 in the second year, €1,950 in the third year + bonus for passing the final exam with good or very good results.

Qualifications

• You have a strong interest in modern IT solutions for the business requirements of the Schwarz Group companies and enjoy serving as the interface between the specialist departments and IT on technical or process-related issues.

• You are reliable, communicative, and a team player.

• You are interested in retail and international project work, and you have good knowledge of common Office programs.

Experience

• You have already gained some initial experience with the use of artificial intelligence.

Education

• You hold a general higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent degree with very good grades in Mathematics, Computer Science, and good grades in English.
