In the dual study program in computer science, you will deal with complex topics and systems in industry. You will conceptualize, develop, and implement technical solutions to support business processes in the area of information transmission, mediation, and processing. Main topics in information technology include, for example, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Data Protection, Mobile Applications, Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing, Client-Server Systems. The study program at the university imparts the theoretical foundations for the practical phases in the company. The core modules in the study program consist of Mathematics, Theoretical Computer Science, Programming, Software Engineering, Databases, Technical Computer Science, Communication and Network Technology, IT Security, and Key Qualifications.

• Higher education entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife), general higher education entrance qualification, or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification
• Good performance, especially in mathematics and computer science
• A strong technical understanding
• Ability for abstraction and logical thinking
• Interest in data processing and computer technology
