About

In the dual study program Data Science and AI, you will combine scientific work with practical projects in our company. You will learn to systematically analyze data, develop intelligent models, and optimize production and business processes using data. In cooperation with the Duale Hochschule in Mannheim and R+W as your employer, you will have two strong partners at your side.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaboration in the Data & Processes department – at the interface of data analysis, AI, and operational excellence
• Analysis and automation of business processes – identification of optimization potential and implementation of AI-supported workflows (e.g., intelligent approval processes, automated data flows between ERP and BI systems)
• Development and deployment of Agentic AI – conception of autonomous AI agents that independently perform tasks, prepare decisions, and orchestrate processes end-to-end
• Evaluation of large structured and unstructured datasets to derive patterns, correlations, and recommendations for action
• Building and further developing dashboards, reporting tools, and self-service analytics for various departments
• Independent projects – from idea to prototype to productive solution in daily business

Your Qualifications

• General or subject-restricted university entrance qualification with good performance in mathematics, computer science, or physics
• Interest in technology, digitalization, and industrial processes
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured, independent way of working
• Enthusiasm for data and new technologies
• Teamwork skills and initiative
