Responsibilities

• Study Customer’s requirement
• Understand company process for submission of tender as well as Privet Inquiry and follow the same.
• Study of specification, thoroughly, per enquiry.
• Preparation of Bill of Material for E&I Items and Metering Skid Package (PG, PT, TG. RTD, Thermowell, Flow Computer, Flow Meter, PLC, Manual valve, On‑Off Valve, Control Valve, Cable, etc..) as per specification of Client’s requirement.
• Co‑ordination with Vendors, Purchase department for cost estimation.
• Floating of enquiry for various products as per BOM (including bought out items). Refer to approved list of Vendors, as per client.
• Evaluation of quotation and preparation of comparative statement.
• Preparing realistic cost estimation with respect to specification, risk management, availability of items as per specifications, delivery time etc.
• Co‑ordination with various functions within the organization for inputs – cost estimation.
• Seek approval for overall cost estimation of the project.
• Submission of tender, post approval.
• Follow‑up with the Respective function regarding outcome of bid.
• Maintain record of each tender with supporting documents on getting the order, sharing the details with relevant team for next steps.
• Analysis of lost order.

Role Description

• This is a full‑time on‑site role for an E&I Estimation Engineer / Asst. Manager at Cryogenic OGS Limited in Vadodara.
• The role involves overseeing and managing the estimation of E&I, analyzing blueprints and specifications, preparing cost estimates, collaborating with engineers and clients, and ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Instrument Engineering
• Strong knowledge in Instrumentation and Process Control
• Skills in identifying and resolving issues through Troubleshooting
• Familiarity with project estimation and cost analysis methods
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
• Experience in the cryogenics or oil & gas industry is an advantage
