We’re looking for someone with a strong background building Elasticsearch-backed search systems and scalable data pipelines in production environments.

If you’ve designed search platforms that support large, unstructured datasets and real-world mission use cases, this one’s for you.

Core Skills We’re Targeting

Search & Data Platforms

• Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, relevance tuning, access controls)
• Search across unstructured data (text, images, video, documents)
• High-volume data ingestion and retrieval pipelines
• API-driven search services

Backend & Data Engineering

• Python (production-grade services)
• SQL
• FastAPI / Flask
• Data ingestion, ETL, and pipeline orchestration
• Dockerized applications
• Linux (Ubuntu), Bash, CLI tools
• Git-based workflows

ML / Analytics (Applied, Not Academic)

• NLP pipelines (topic modeling, sentiment analysis, entity extraction)
• Search + ML integration (ranking, enrichment, retrieval augmentation)
• Experience supporting downstream analytics and dashboards
• Familiarity with vector search / embeddings a plus

Cloud & Enterprise Tools

• AWS and/or Azure
• Databricks / Spark / PySpark
• CI/CD fundamentals
• Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization

Nice-to-Have / Bonus

• Experience in DoD, IC, or austere environments
• Building search for shared drives or large document repositories
• Handling image / video / text data in a unified search platform
• Prior work with Palantir, Foundry, or similar platforms
