JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN

• Testing on the project of Engines using CANalyzer, CANape, dspace and CAT ET tools and work on Software testing for design & simulating the models in MATLAB.
• Interact with the developers and requirement teams for the issues and sorting them to resolve the issues to submit the project within deadlines and attend the weekly division meetings and section meetings with the whole team.
• Working as a Reviewer/Moderator to review the models according to the specification & review the test cases with all possible scenarios and testing VDQD for the system. Analysis of the technical requirements from the customer specification provided by requirement team & simulate the design through MATLAB.
• Designed and implemented SIL and HIL test benches for machine-level integration testing, validating inducement logic for emissions compliance.
• Developed automated test scripts in Python and C to execute inducement scenarios (DEF level monitoring, NOx sensor faults, SCR efficiency) across SIL and HIL environments.
• Testing supported and new changes for test case scenarios for the design & added library functions and error fixes for different testing phase of the application.
• Performed V&V testing for Engine and Aftertreatment systems across Industrial and Large Power Systems.
• Developed and validated MATLAB/Simulink models and library functions based on system requirements.
• Conducted HIL testing using dSPACE tools and created plant Models and subsystem models.
• Created and executed test cases using CANape, CANalyzer, and Cadet based on software requirements.
• Reviewed and moderated test plans and models, including VDQD and inducement scenarios.
• Configured DCU displays and electrical harnesses for HIL test benches.
• Provided support for Test Cell issues and troubleshooting ECMs.
• Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. Exact client site location and frequency of travel cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability.

• $81,390.00/year

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related any Engineering.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of experience as Software Engineer, Tester, or related.
