About the role

Overview

You will work in a motivated development team on challenging embedded solutions for safety-relevant technical systems. You will design hardware-near software for our product families and accompany the entire development cycle from prototype to series production. You will use embedded and system software such as C++, C, or Rust, as well as common tools for integration and testing. Your Tasks

  • Develop firmware-near components for embedded systems within safety-critical application fields
  • Implement and optimize software modules using embedded and system software such as C++, C, or Rust
  • Design and conduct test and verification activities to ensure functional requirements
  • Work closely with hardware, test, and product teams to coordinate integration tasks
  • Document technical solutions and create clear status reports for project management
  • Support the continuous improvement of development processes and toolchains

Your Profile

  • Completed training or studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable practical experience
  • Good knowledge of C/C++ and experience with embedded systems development
  • Understanding of hardware-near programming, microcontroller, or embedded PC architectures
  • First experiences with safety-relevant software requirements or systematic testing are advantageous
  • Team-oriented way of working, initiative, and structured documentation
  • Willingness for interdisciplinary coordination with colleagues from technology, purchasing, and quality
