Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for embedded locomotive control software
• Perform manual and automated testing with proper requirements traceability and coverage validation
• Conduct black-box testing for embedded applications and control systems
• Participate in design reviews to ensure system testability and compliance with requirements
• Analyze system-level and subsystem-level designs to create comprehensive validation scenarios
• Work extensively with vSIM and Hardware-in-the-Test-Loop (HITL) test environments
• Validate embedded systems using simulation platforms and real-time testing environments
• Perform integration testing and system-level validation to identify and troubleshoot functional issues
• Validate system behavior using dynamic system models and real-world operational data
• Support locomotive system integration, troubleshooting, and field validation activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for new product development and system upgrades
