About the role
System Engineering
Location: Onsite – Neubiberg, Munich, Germany Experience: 8+ Years Type: Contract
Required skills:
- Master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering with a focus on power electronics
- Good knowledge in Schematic Design and PCB Layout testing and validation of Integrated power modules.
- Should be able to coordinate with suppliers and be able to guide them for design and review activities.
- Good knowledge of high voltage electrical and thermal measurements,
- Should be able to come up with a test plan requirement, a list of instruments, lab readiness for testing, and characterization of the components.
- Enthusiast with hands-on work in a lab environment, should be familiar with test equipment, testing procedures in high voltage power labs, as well as simulation tools like MATLAB, P-Spice. Etc.
- Should have good knowledge in lab management tasks like inventory management, inventory oversight planning,, equipment ordering, plan maintenance, etc.
- Understanding of microcontrollers and their operating environment and basic programming skills
- Strong customer orientation.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
- Able to work autonomously in a multicultural team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key skills:
Power Electronics and Semiconductor technologies (IGBT, SiC-MOSFET, GaN), Instrument knowledge, simulation tools MATLAB P-Spice, basic c or Python programming. lab management skills, high-voltage electrical and thermal, component characterization
