Overview

You will work on challenging embedded software and shape the further development of stable firmware components. In your area of responsibility, you will benefit from flat structures, short decision-making processes, and real learning opportunities. Technologically, you will work with programming languages and embedded platforms such as C, C++, or Rust, as well as common microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM or RISC-V). We support your professional development through regular mentoring and modern collaboration tools.

Your Tasks

• Develop performant firmware components for embedded systems considering runtime and memory restrictions
• Support the team in new developments and maintenance of existing codebases
• Review and optimize software through performance, benchmark, and stress tests
• Adapt software solutions to project-specific requirements and contribute changes to the generic codebase
• Create technical documentation such as user guides and instructions
• Coordinate discussions with internal interfaces from technology, quality, and purchasing

Your Profile

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification
• Have initial practical experience with microcontroller projects and embedded development
• Master C programming and be familiar with embedded toolchains and debugging methods
• Work in a structured, analytical, and self-reliant manner
• Be communicative and team-oriented
• Possess very good German language skills and solid English language skills
