Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an End User Computing Architect based in Warrendale, PA. The End User Computing Architect will be responsible for creating and implementing end-user computing architecture, driving impactful design solutions, overseeing software development, managing system integrations, and leading strategic projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

We are seeking an experienced EUC Architect to design, implement, and lead enterprise-scale End User Computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern workplace technologies, virtualization, device management, and digital workspace transformation. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect End User Computing (EUC) solutions including VDI, DaaS, and physical desktop environments
• Lead digital workplace transformation initiatives aligned with business goals
• Architect and implement solutions using technologies like: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, SCCM (Microsoft Configuration Manager), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / Citrix / VMware Horizon
• Define EUC strategy, roadmaps, and best practices
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across endpoints
• Drive automation and optimization of device lifecycle management
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams
• Lead migration projects (on-prem to cloud, legacy to modern workplace)
• Provide L3/L4 support and act as an escalation point
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Evaluate and onboard new EUC tools and technologies
• Create architecture documentation, SOPs, and design frameworks

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in: EUC Architecture & Design, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Endpoint Management (Intune, SCCM), Windows 10/11 enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware Horizon
• Expertise in: Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Endpoint security tools (Defender, antivirus, DLP)
• Strong understanding of: Cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP), Scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
• Experience in ITIL-based service management environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect, Citrix Certified Professional (CCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
• Exposure to Zero Trust architecture and modern workplace security
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
