Insight Global is seeking a Dispatcher to support their team onsite in Baltimore, MD. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations and managing real-time Demand Response (DR) events across multiple energy markets. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of making critical, time-sensitive decisions independently during grid emergencies, while ensuring compliance with ISO directives.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily dispatch operations
• Managing real-time Demand Response (DR) events across multiple energy markets
• Making critical, time-sensitive decisions independently during grid emergencies
• Ensuring compliance with ISO directives
• Monitoring grid conditions and dispatch communications
• Maintaining detailed event logs and SOPs
• Coordinating offers to optimize revenue and reduce market risk
• Leading a team through training, certification, and shift management
• Serving as the primary contact during emergencies
• Mentoring team members to ensure continuous 24/7 coverage and operational excellence

Desired Skillset

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or any relevant degree
• Experience in the energy industry
• Skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, and working independently as well as experience managing a team
• Strong in spreadsheets, databases, and programming in VBA and Python
• Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure.

Compensation

$60,000 to $80,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
