Civil Engineering Office - at the earliest possible date - open-ended - position: EG 12 TVöD or BesGr. A 12 BayBesG - working hours: 39 or 40 hours/week.

The Stadt-Umland-Bahn project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region. The aspects of environmental friendliness, accessibility and modernity are at the center of all planning. Due to the size and complexity of the project, there are far-reaching effects on the existing transportation facilities of the city of Erlangen. You will be part of a cross-departmental project group and represent the interests of the New Construction and Renewal of Traffic Areas department as a whole.

Your tasks:

  • Examination, assessment and adaptation of the StUB planning from a technical, planning, operational and economic point of view for the New Construction and Renewal of Traffic Areas department of the Civil Engineering Office
  • Processing and supervising the design and implementation planning of traffic facilities
  • Accompanying the construction implementation of measures of the special-purpose association, in particular checking and processing the invitation to tender for construction measures
  • Coordination meetings with all parties involved in the construction project and constant monitoring of the construction project

Your profile:

  • Completed studies as a graduate engineer (FH) or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or the third qualification level of the "Science and Technology" career path, specializing in civil and environmental engineering, road and civil engineering, traffic management
  • Class B driving license (please enclose proof)
  • Knowledge of contract and fee law (VOB / HOAI)
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of new construction and renovation of traffic areas is desirable, ideally in public administration
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, organizational talent, attention to detail, problem-solving skills
  • Good IT and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to familiarize yourself with specialist programs (CAD, GeoVision, QGIS)
