We are looking for you as a Utility Systems Engineer for Lufthansa Technik AG at the Hamburg location. You will optimize technical infrastructure such as heating, water, and wastewater systems, manage new construction and renovation projects, and ensure that availability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance align in day-to-day operations.

The gross annual salary is up to €68,295, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring trouble-free operation and optimizing utility systems within the technical infrastructure (including heating, water, and wastewater systems)
  • Project/sub-project management for new construction and renovation projects, including coordination of planning and execution in building construction and civil engineering
  • Advising and supporting production areas on complex renovation projects and acting as a technical contact for utility systems
  • Planning and initiating modernization measures for existing facilities
  • Developing and implementing maintenance and servicing concepts to ensure and improve system availability
  • Conducting feasibility studies and preparing project proposals and permit applications
  • Assisting with special tasks in the area of technical infrastructure and building services engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services engineering or civil engineering with a focus on building services engineering / building services technology
  • Several years of professional experience in technologically comparable fields is desirable
  • Experience with complex building services systems
  • Experience in managing and executing complex projects is desirable
  • Process and methodological expertise as well as a solid understanding of business management contexts
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations such as the Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers, the Fee Schedule Committee, and building legislation
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office as well as relevant application programs
  • Advanced German and English (min. B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
  • Willingness to work both domestically and abroad

  • Erstellung von Ausschreibungen, Leistungsverzeichnissen sowie die technische Prüfung und Bewertung von Angeboten.

Ihr Profil (Qualifications)

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Versorgungstechnik, Technische Gebäudeausrüstung (TGA), Maschinenbau oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation als Techniker / Meister mit einschlägiger Erfahrung.
  • Fundierte Berufserfahrung in der Projektleitung oder Fachplanung versorgungstechnischer Anlagen.
  • Gute Kenntnisse der relevanten Normen, Richtlinien und Verordnungen (z. B. VOB, DIN, HOAI).
  • Sicherer Umgang mit gängiger Planungs- oder CAD-Software sowie MS Office.
  • Kommunikationsstärke, Durchsetzungsvermögen und verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse.
